Roy Lancaster is our Founder and CEO. Mr. Lancaster founded the company in 1992. Until that time, he was an Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Management at DDB Needham Worldwide, Inc. a $9 Billion multi-national advertising agency. At DDB Needham, Mr. Lancaster supervised $400 million in advertising billing for Johnson & Johnson, Amtrak, Liz Claibourne, Chanel, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bacardi, New York City Ballet, Columbian Coffee and Seagrams. Mr. Lancaster developed the” Just Say No” campaign for the White House. Mr. Lancaster also served as the agency’s specialist in the launch of new products and overall marketing strategy.
Mr. Lancaster is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his advertising. One of his commercials is in the collection of The Smithsonian Institution. In addition, Mr. Lancaster is contributing-author of Advertising Principles, a fundamental text for Graduate and Under Graduate advertising studies published by Prentice Hall.
Under his leadership, Mr. Lancaster developed and tested all of the operating systems and marketing for the Company while growing the Company in eighteen states.
Mr. Satz started his career as an attorney. After graduation from Harvard Law School, he was associated with the New York law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He became part of the first generation of senior management in the financial guaranty insurance industry, establishing many of the industry’s key operating principles. Mr. Satz later founded and was CEO of a NYSE listed financial reinsurance company. In addition, he was CEO of a financial services insurance company, managing its successful turnaround while positioning the company for its initial public offering on the NYSE.
Currently Mr. Satz is Chairman of a BarterQuest, a web site that supports the cashless exchange of goods and services between individual consumers. Mr. Sats is a principal investor in Big League Barbers, Inc. , has served on it Board of Directors since 1995 and serves as its Vice Chairman and General Counsel.
Mr. Pilkerton assists franchise owners with the completion of their site selection packages, conducts their initial training and provides ongoing training and support in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. Mr. Pilkerton does not participate in any franchise sales activities. He has been one of our franchisees since February 1998. Mr. Pilkerton was also a franchisee in the Hardee’s hamburger franchise system and served as Market Manager for Johnson Oil Company.
